Our Chosen Charity

Raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance

Cornwall Air Ambulance is called to over 1000 seriously sick or injured people every year in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. When every minute matters, they can be the difference between life and death. As a charity, they rely on us the public to fund these lifesaving missions. Help keep the helicopter flying and help keep more families together.

Fundraising

We've been raising money for Cornwall Air Ambulance for the last few years and Tregenna have so far raised £4.7k for the charity since 2019. Without you, our guests supporting our fundraising efforts, none of this would have been possible.

The latest fundraiser saw Wendy and Geoff who both work in our Reservations team and are passionate about supporting our chosen charity do something completely selfless! Both volunteered to shave their long luscious locks off on New Years Eve 2021.  Their bravery has so far raised just over £1k and there is still time to donate by following this link.

In 2020, it was a tough year for all and there wasn't the opportunity to do any social fundraisers. However, our online donations alone raised over 1.2k.

In 2019 some of our team became absolute dare-devils and did a 10,000ft skydive over Perranporth, Cornwall.  Their bravery raised just over £2.5k.  Check out the photos below!

Nobody wakes up expecting to take a ride in the air ambulance, but each day the highly-skilled critical care paramedics, doctors and pilots of Cornwall Air Ambulance attend an average of three people in need of urgent critical care.

Everybody knows of somebody who has been airlifted and nobody knows who might need it next. When every minute matters, the speed of the air ambulance can be the difference between life and death, between a family kept together or broken apart.

The rural nature of Cornwall makes the air ambulance essential to treat the most critically ill patients in the county. By road it could take hours to reach hospital, by air it is minutes.

Meeting saved patients and learning about their experiences is always an emotional time. Read the stories below to learn how those patients survived their darkest hours and remain together today thanks to Cornwall Air Ambulance and the support you give them.

If you can support us to support them, please follow the link below to donate.  Thank you!
