Whatever the weather this half term (21st – 29th May) there will be fun and games for all the family at Tregenna Castle Resort with a wide range of activities, from making your own windmill to a beauty open evening, taking place throughout the week.

As well as a busy calendar of events, the half-term break also marks the opening of Tregenna’s outdoor pool. It’s the first time the pool has been open this year and, for the first time, will now stay open continuously until September.

Whit Week merriment gets underway on Sunday, May 24, when the resort’s popular family lunch and evening carveries will be accompanied by some entertainment for the whole family.

The fun continues on Monday morning with a photo frame and memory-making workshop and on Tuesday the day begins with youngsters being given the chance to be a superhero for the day by making their own mask.

At 5pm, there will be an open beauty evening where the professionals from Castle Beauty, the resort’s own spa and beauticians, will be demonstrating some of what they offer on a daily basis.

Throughout the week guests and visitors will also get the chance to make their own windmill or Cornish slate clock, enjoy Cracker Box family entertainment, bake their own bread and enjoy a wide range of live entertainment.

Alongside all this the outdoor pool will be opening for the summer and the regular facilities, from the golf course to the Castle Kids nursery will also be available.

The week will come to a close on Friday with a movie and popcorn event.

James Parker, Operations Director at Tregenna, said: “The school holidays are a great time for youngsters and their families visiting the resort. We cater for every age group and aim to have something going on at all times.

“What with everything we have all year round at the hotel, from our in-house facilities as well as partnerships with surf schools, adventure trip groups and being minutes from the beach, guests are never short of things to do.”

All activities meet at reception.
