Located less than five minutes from Tregenna Castle, this lovely cottage is in the heart of the action, and even boasts a two storey round tower, offering unbeatable views of the our gardens and the gorgeous Cornish coastline.
A Warm Welcome
Wander through your private walled garden and enter into the open plan kitchen/diner through the glass panelled front door. Equipped with everything you need to conjure up something delicious for all the family to enjoy, this spacious kitchen/diner also boasts large windows offering wonderful garden views. If you don’t fancy cooking, or just don’t want to be left with the washing up, why not wander just five minutes away to our award winning Brasserie Restaurant? Or order from our Chef’s takeaway menu. Then all that’s left to do is set the table and feast. Once everyone is full of delicious locally sourced food, wander the winding staircase to the lounge. Relax into one of the two sofas or matching armchairs, gather everyone around to watch a film. Alternatively, take your evening outside onto your balcony and enjoy stunning views over the garden and St Ives Bay before drifting off to bed for a good night’s sleep.
A Good Night's Sleep
Miss Robinson’s has three bedrooms to choose from, as well as the cosy sofa bed. The bedrooms consist of a double bedroom, bunk room and twin room, and with the double sofa bed in the lounge, sleeps eight in total. The variety of rooms and family-friendly decor makes this property perfect for large families with young children. The master double bedroom is light and airy, with a stylish modern design and en-suite wet room. Wake up gently in the morning, and relax into the striped armchair with a newspaper and warming cup of tea or coffee. A little down the hall is the bunk room, decorated especially for the little ones this room is ideal for young children. Light and airy without too much fuss, this room also contains small windows with garden views.
The final room is at the end of the hallway and currently stands as a twin room, but you can join the beds to make it into an extra double. This room boasts a ceiling window, offering a beautiful view of the trees and the night sky and also has another large window, offering a refreshing amount of natural light throughout the day. The spacious shared bathroom features a loo, sink with hot and cold taps, wall mounted mirror and the all important bath with overhead shower, exactly what you need after a long day exploring Cornwall.
Explore Your Surroundings
With exquisite views of St Ives Bay, staying in Miss Robinson’s cottage makes it impossible to not want to explore the beautiful cornish coastline. Stroll along the soft golden beaches and feel the sand between your toes and the fresh ocean water sweep over your feet. Breathe in the fresh sea air as you watch the fishermen sail in from high tides with their catch of the day. Venture into the town itself and peruse quaint shops, poke your head into quirky cafes and eateries – a trip to Cornwall wouldn’t be complete without tasting some of the delicious local food. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and history of this wonderful little seaside town.
We also have plenty to do within the walls of our 72 acre resort. Miss Robinson’s is already immersed in our enchanting woodland walks so why not explore a little further? Circle back round to the front of the magnificent Tregenna Castle and enjoy a whole host of facilities. Work up a sweat and get your heart pumping in our Fitness Suite and Leisure Centre, then sit back and relax in our sauna and jacuzzi facilities. If you’re visiting us with children, send them to Castle Kids and we’ll keep them entertained with a wide range of activities all day. Now you can focus on you and what better way to do that than with a good book while basking in the sunshine by the outdoor heated pool. Or even better, really indulge in some ‘me time’ with a treatment or two at Castle Beauty. When the little ones are back in the picture, test your racket skills in a family doubles game of badminton or tennis on our outside courts.
