72 acres of beauty
Visitors are welcome to explore our magnificent 72 acre estate.
The sub-tropical gardens showcase the botanical advantages of the Cornish climate. The walled garden features a clipped serpentine box hedge enclosing the ‘hot border’ and a beautifully scented lavender surround to the pond.
The woodlands contrast the beautifully manicured lawns and sculpted hedges. Originally created in the 1920s, the Woodland Walk is a circular walk that skirts the perimeter of the estate and gives breathtaking sea views.
The walled sub-tropical gardens are a beautiful and contemplative space. They feature the bold colours and striking shapes that the famously mild climate allows. Sundials, fountains and sun bleached doors give an artistic feel to the gardens.
The Woodland Walk takes around an hour to walk in its entirety but it has many entrance and exit points so the walk can be shorter if desired. The Water Garden with its waterfall is a magical find on the way.
